Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last Updated: 25 August 2026
Niqabella is committed to processing and delivering your order as efficiently as possible. Please read the following Shipping & Delivery Policy before placing an order.
- Order Processing
Once your order has been successfully placed and payment has been confirmed, Niqabella will begin processing your order.
Orders are generally processed during our normal business days.
Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, promotions, weekends and public holidays.
An order confirmation confirms that your order has been received. It does not necessarily mean that your order has already been dispatched.
- Delivery
Niqabella uses courier and/or delivery services to deliver orders to customers.
Delivery is made to the address supplied by the customer when placing the order.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, contact number and other delivery information provided at checkout are accurate.
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information may result in delays or additional delivery arrangements.
- Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery timeframes may vary depending on the customer’s location, courier availability, order processing time and circumstances outside Niqabella’s reasonable control.
Where a specific delivery date or timeframe has been agreed with the customer, Niqabella will make reasonable efforts to meet that agreed timeframe.
Where no specific delivery date or timeframe has been agreed, delivery will take place within a reasonable time.
Unexpected delays may occur because of:
- Courier delays;
- Severe weather;
- Public holidays;
- High-volume periods;
- Incorrect or incomplete delivery information;
- Industrial action;
- Road closures or other transport disruptions; or
- Other circumstances beyond Niqabella’s reasonable control.
- Delivery Charges
Applicable delivery or courier charges will be displayed or communicated to the customer before the order is completed, where applicable.
Delivery charges may vary according to factors such as:
- Delivery location;
- Parcel size or weight;
- Courier service selected; and
- Promotional or special delivery offers.
Any applicable delivery charge will form part of the customer’s order total.
- Tracking
Where the selected courier service provides tracking, Niqabella may provide the customer with tracking information once the order has been dispatched.
Customers can use the applicable tracking information to follow the progress of their parcel.
Once a parcel has been handed to the courier, certain delivery updates and delays may be controlled by the courier.
- Delivery Address
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.
This should include all information reasonably necessary for the courier to locate the delivery address.
Niqabella is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer.
If a customer provides an incorrect address and the courier charges an additional fee for re-delivery or address correction, the customer may be responsible for that additional charge where permitted by law.
- Missed Deliveries
If a courier attempts delivery and nobody is available to receive the parcel, the courier may make further delivery attempts or contact the customer according to the courier’s procedures.
Customers should ensure that the contact details supplied with the order are correct and that someone is reasonably available to receive the parcel.
Additional delivery charges resulting from repeated failed delivery attempts may apply where permitted by law and where the failure was caused by the customer’s actions or incorrect information.
- Inspect Your Order Upon Arrival
Customers should inspect their parcel and products as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Please check that:
- The parcel appears reasonably intact;
- The correct items were supplied;
- The items correspond with the order;
- There are no obvious signs of damage; and
- Any visible issue is reported to Niqabella as soon as reasonably possible.
If there is an apparent problem, please take photographs and/or videos and contact Niqabella before using, washing, altering or wearing the affected item.
Inspection of goods does not remove any statutory consumer rights that may apply.
- Incorrect or Missing Items
If you receive an item that does not correspond with your order, or an item is missing from your order, please contact Niqabella as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- Your order number;
- Your name and contact details;
- A description of the issue; and
- Clear photographs of the parcel and items received where applicable.
Niqabella will investigate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.
- Damaged Parcels
If your parcel appears damaged when delivered, please take photographs of the parcel and its contents before disposing of any packaging.
Contact Niqabella as soon as reasonably possible so that the matter can be investigated with the relevant courier service.
Customers should retain the original packaging where reasonably possible until the matter has been resolved.
- Courier Delays
Niqabella works with delivery providers to ensure that orders reach customers as efficiently as possible.
However, once an order has been handed to a courier, delays may sometimes occur that are outside Niqabella’s reasonable control.
Where a significant delivery problem occurs, Niqabella will reasonably assist the customer in communicating with the relevant courier and investigating the delivery status.
- International Deliveries
If Niqabella offers delivery outside South Africa, international orders may be subject to additional delivery charges, customs duties, taxes, import requirements or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
International delivery timeframes may also vary considerably depending on customs clearance and the destination country’s postal or courier services.
- Delivery Risk
Niqabella will comply with applicable South African consumer law regarding responsibility for goods during delivery.
Where applicable law provides that goods remain at the supplier’s risk until the consumer has accepted delivery, that legal requirement will apply.
- Delivery & Returns
If you need to return an item, please do not send it back without first contacting Niqabella.
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Refund, Returns & Exchange Policy.
The applicable return procedure and responsibility for return courier costs will depend on the reason for the return and the circumstances of the order.
- Public Holidays & Peak Periods
Orders placed during weekends, public holidays, major promotional periods, festive seasons or other high-volume periods may require additional processing time.
Niqabella will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays where appropriate.
- Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate delivery information;
- Providing a valid contact number;
- Monitoring courier tracking information where supplied;
- Being reasonably available to receive the order; and
- Reporting delivery issues to Niqabella as soon as reasonably possible.
- Changes to This Shipping Policy
Niqabella may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our courier services, delivery arrangements, website or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.
- Applicable Law
This Shipping & Delivery Policy is subject to applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, as amended.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove, restrict or waive any statutory rights available to consumers.
